How to complete Veriff

1. Use a smartphone, if possible

Scan the QR code that’s displayed on the Veriff page or enter your phone number to receive a link via SMS.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a smartphone.
You can always use your desktop or laptop by clicking on “Continue with your current device” at the very bottom of the Veriff screen.

2. Take a picture of a government-issued ID

  • It must be of a physical ID and not an electronic version or copy.
  • Your ID must be up to date and must match the name that’s on your Opinion Outpost account.
  • It also has to be issued by the country where this survey panel is based (e.g., a UK ID for Opinion Outpost UK members).
  • When taking a picture, make sure that your ID is fully in frame without obstructing any information.

List of accepted IDs: driving license, national identity card, passport.

3. Take a photo of your face (a selfie)

Make sure your face is clearly visible and you take a photo in a well-lit room.

Once done, Veriff will process your information and you’ll be taken to a page that says
“THANK YOU! Your verification data has been successfully submitted.”

Please note, this message does not indicate that you have been successfully verified.

Clicking “Continue” will take you back to the Opinion Outpost website, which will display the outcome of your verification.

Verification must be completed within 7 days of starting it or your account will be locked for security reasons.
